We are a family from Switzerland. Together with my wife, who was born in Belgrade and moved to Switzerland when she was 10, we have two daughters. I was born in Switzerland and have lived here ever since. Switzerland is definitely the center of our lives, both in terms of work, our children, and our family.
Kefalonia is my father's home island and I have visited it at least once a year since I was born. I am glad that my wife is just as enthusiastic about Kefalonia as the rest of the family. The house we rent out is more than just a vacation home for us—it is a piece of our own history. My father comes from the village of Sarlata and grew up there. We still have numerous relatives in the village. For years, we spent every summer at my father's house. At some point, however, it simply became too small for all of us—my father, mother, three other brothers, who all have families of their own, and a total of five children. So, in 2023, we decided to buy this house. We will continue to spend our vacations in the village on the island of Kefalonia with all our relatives.
